How To Create a Healthy Work-Life Balance While Engaging with Social Media

I am on sabbatical this month, so I am re-sharing content I’ve posted elsewhere on the internet. I hope you enjoy it!

In our fast-paced, always-connected world, it’s more important than ever to have a healthy work-life balance. And while social media can be a great way to stay connected with clients, vendors, friends, and family, it can also be a major time-suck if you’re not careful.

Here are some tips to help you create a healthy work-life balance while still being able to enjoy the benefits of social media.

๐Ÿ•š 1-2 times per week, dedicate two hours to drafting social media posts (bonus points for using your existing blog content as inspiration)

โณ Spend 1 hour per week scheduling your posts

๐Ÿ—จ๏ธ Reply, reshare, and comment 15-30 minutes, twice a day (in the morning and at the end of your workday)

๐Ÿ’˜ Aim to make your social media content inspiring, encouraging, and valuable to your audience

๐Ÿค– If you can only nurture one social media platform, just do one. Don't feel the pressure to be everywhere, all the time. You're not a robot.

๐Ÿค— If nothing else, engage with your followers and ideal clients. The advertising stuff can wait, if you're building relationships and connections, you will reap the benefits.
