In our fast-paced, always-connected world, it’s more important than ever to have a healthy work-life balance. And while social media can be a great way to stay connected with clients, vendors, friends, and family, it can also be a major time-suck if you’re not careful.
Here are some tips to help you create a healthy work-life balance while still being able to enjoy the benefits of social media.
🕚 1-2 times per week, dedicate two hours to drafting social media posts (bonus points for using your existing blog content as inspiration)
⏳ Spend 1 hour per week scheduling your posts
🗨️ Reply, reshare, and comment 15-30 minutes, twice a day (in the morning and at the end of your workday)
💘 Aim to make your social media content inspiring, encouraging, and valuable to your audience
🤖 If you can only nurture one social media platform, just do one. Don't feel the pressure to be everywhere, all the time. You're not a robot.
🤗 If nothing else, engage with your followers and ideal clients. The advertising stuff can wait, if you're building relationships and connections, you will reap the benefits.
